Project Overview
The Protolabs concept video explores the evolution of manufacturing, moving from traditional engineering, heavy industry, and global supply chain delays into a faster, smarter digital manufacturing future. The project combines cinematic storytelling, stock and factory footage, motion graphics, custom 3D visuals, AI-inspired overlays, and a male-to-female voiceover transition to show how Protolabs helps turn ideas into reality through advanced manufacturing, automation, and innovation-driven production.

Video Production and Editing
Handled the full video production and editing process, including text overlays, motion-based messaging, visual asset development, and final assembly. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Runway were used to create and refine the final piece, blending traditional post-production tools with AI-assisted workflows to deliver a polished promotional video.
Sound Effects and Music
Edited and refined sound effects and music to enhance pacing, transitions, and overall viewer engagement. Audition was used to shape the audio experience, helping the final video feel more immersive, balanced, and professionally finished.
Storyboard and script
Developed the storyboard and voice-over script to shape the structure, pacing, and messaging of the video from the start. InDesign was used to map out the visual sequence and narrative flow, while ElevenLabs helped support voice-over development and overall script refinement. This phase created the foundation for a video that felt organized, purposeful, and aligned with the intended message.

Logo animation
Created logo animation to give the video a stronger branded presence and a more polished visual introduction. After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator were used to develop motion that felt clean, modern, and consistent with the overall tone of the piece.
